The 'Making of Pa's Fiddle' documentary goes behind the scenes of the PBS concert 'Pa's Fiddle' and introduces the roots music featured in Laura Wilder in her Little House on the Prairie series of books. The film features performers backstage and in rehearsal - singers Randy Travis, Ronnie Milsap, Natalie Grant, Rodney Atkins, Ashton Shepherd, The Roys and the a cappella group 'Committed' (who won NBC's 'Sing Off' in season two). Dean Butler, who starred in the Little House on the Prairie television series and musciologist Dale Cockrell explain the history of Americana music and its connection to Wilder's stories and life on the prairie in pioneer days.
