Fresh out of prison, petty criminal Charlie Croker has the plans for the ultimate heist - a four million dollar bullion robbery from an armoured car in Turin - fall into his lap. Turning to an old prison enemy for help backing the scheme, Charlie surprisingly receives the veteran convicts support and goes about organising a motley group of thieves to pull off the plan.
