Eddie Fleming (Hugo Weaving) is an ordinary man, the sort of person you would pass in the street without a second glance. Early one morning his door is broken down. He is over powered and terrorized, accused of nameless crime, stripped of every right, helpless. How does he react? What do we expect of him? What would you do? Detective Sgt John Steele is just a little short of evidence. Tough and experienced, his reputation for 'getting results' makes his superiors nervous. Eddie is the only lead he has.
