In an unhappy, cold marriage Archisman, a soft soul, lives a life without passion, aim and colour with his wife. Middleclass habituation of mundane works are their existence. As partners they communicate very little but silently observe each other in their mundane existence. Camera captures their parallel moments in the same house through juxtaposition of shots in black and white. One day, while shaving and talking to himself in the mirror, Archisman escapes into a magic-real journey to discover himself amidst lush, open nature and colours. As he proceeds through the space he gradually meets different magical, passionate, colourful characters some of whom were long dead in the eyes of his mind. Ironically, one of them has dual existence, one is madly in love, one in immense grief, one Lady Macbeth has an insatiable appetite for new lovers and money. They love, hate, kill, sing and wait eternally for each other which overwhelms Archisman.These passions, these shades of colour in life were completely absent in his mind. To look back and to take a pause, he now thinks about his lonely, simple wife, who is waiting for him in the house with love. Then, on the black screen, light gets switched on to see him awakening from his dream. He slowly goes to the next room, drinks some fresh, cool water, comes back to his room. His wife is seen weeping silently in the bed. He then goes to his wife and embraces her after a long time. Rain starts falling in the new dawn.
