Marie is an eleven-year-old girl. Her parents are about to separate. Long before anyone explains it to her, the little girl already understands everything. Because she loves her father and mother, she suffers. When things are bad, Marie sings, dances, recites, invents stories and characters. She listens. She is learning about being alone.
