Jed Clampett and his kinfolk move from Arkansas to Beverly Hills when he becomes a billionaire after striking oil while out hunting. The hillfolk are very naive about life in the big city so when Jed launches a search for a new wife, inevitably there are plenty of takers and con artists ready to make a fast buck.
