Bill, a husky Western cowboy, determines to visit the land of romance and bull throwing and vamping senoritas - Spain. Bill finds the wild and woolly West tame in comparison with the Spanish everyday life, but he finds no hardship in acclimating himself. He runs into Mose, a high brown from the home of prohibition, who was a member of his regiment during the recent war. Mose elects himself Bill's valet, more for protection than anything else. So Bill finds himself given every attention, but unconsciously assuming the role of bouncer for this darkie. Bill falls in love with a senorita who spends most of her time trying to persuade a greaser, who admits he's the champion bull thrower of Spain, that the place for bull throwing is inside the ring. But then bull throwers are bull throwers, and Bill has the time of his life trying to propose to the senorita, for whom he falls hook, line, sinker and all. But toreadors are not to be cast off, and in time Bill finds himself fighting the greaser. Of course, he wins. But the climax is staged at the arena, where the supposed champion is pinned to the ground by a rushing bull. Bill rushes into the affray and shows the greaseball how cows, bulls, and such are tossed in America - and he does it and saves the champion himself. That's the beginning of the end for the champion, who is licked at a duel, kicked around like Jim Casey's dog, and otherwise made to understand that his business is bulling the bull.
