Marion, an elderly woman, decides to take an adventure and heads off to the travel agents to book a trip to Austrailia where they celebrated their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. All the time, she updates her diary. Not everything is straightforward, and Marion is faced with a series of challenges but being a feisty and intelligent woman, she tackles these head on bringing humour to otherwise challenging and emotional circumstances.
