"Teatro alla Scala. Inaugurated in 1778, the Teatro alla Scala of Milan is the place where the tradition of the great Italian opera is born. The emotions absorbed by the velvet curtains, by the wood of the stage, by the armchairs in front of the orchestra are still alive today and surface every night at the very moment when the light is dimmed, the audience stops chatting and the show begins.
