Our heroine and her mother meet financial reverses and advertise their home for rent. This advertisement is answered by a bunch of crooks who rent the house in order to hold their annual meeting. Because of this band, all the servants leave the house and therefore our heroine together with our hero who is very much in love with the young girl - have to act as servants - she taking the place of the maid and Harold Lloyd taking the place of the butler.
