Five young people, masked in black balaclavas, venture out into the dark of night. They steal, sabotage, and destroy property-but all with a clear conscience. They do it for a single purpose: liberating silent beings, living creatures with hearts and feelings, whom others disregard. This branch of the Animal Liberation Front calls itself the Svarte Pantere (Black Panthers). However, their methods are not accepted, and they must brace for fierce confrontations with the police, the media, and political forces.
