The documentary begins with educational information on the incurable disease, sarcoidosis. Afterward, we meet Chris Papps from Montreal, Canada. Papps describes his experiences living with sarcoid. Next, we meet Barbara Weber from Eden, New York. Weber describes the past nine years of her life after being diagnosed with both neurosarcoidosis and pulmonary sarcoidosis. We then meet Deborah Rice from Birmingham, Alabama. Rice is an advocate for sarcoidosis awareness and uses her story to educate and inspire. Finally, we meet Andrena Johnson from Louisville, Kentucky. Johnson describes her life after being diagnosed with neurosarcoidosis in 2010 and the long list of medications needed to treat the disease. Through their stories, we learn more about sarcoidosis and the need for more research, to finally find a cure.
