A former prostitute kidnaps a newborn baby boy to satisfy her drug-dealing husband, who has threatened that he will divorce her and put her out on the streets if she cannot give him a son; the real mother becomes emotionally overwrought and determined to get her baby back. Barbara Mandrell gets thrown into this mess as the mother's mother, who is already beset with heart problems.
