In this follow-up to their 1971 series "Persuaders!", two best friends, English gentleman Lord Brett Sinclair and American playboy Danny Wilde, investigate who is trying to fix the Formula 1 race that Danny is involved with, and for what reason. What at first seems like a push from the local gangsters to get with the program turns out to be a wide conspiracy involving Scotland Yard, Soviet spies, and a lot of money.
