The old fable of the spinning mice is presented in a color cartoon. It should be particularly pleasing to children as well as grownups. Two children notice a spinning mouse and ask him why he spins. The mouse then explains that long ago an old man tried to change nature and got himself into trouble. All spinning mice, therefore, don't ask why they are forced to revolve all the time but merely go on doing so, all the while remembering the fate of the old man.
