There hasn't been one of this excellent series of shorts that could touch this particular reel for sure-fire laughs. In fact, we rate it the best of all to date, and the reason is the sequence showing singing cows in a pasture "giving out" with The Cow-Cow Boogie. It is positive dynamite for any audience. The other animal gags range from a skunk commenting on his unpopularity ("Didn't you know? I've got B.C.") to a monkey who resents all this talk about people being descended from monkeys. Jerry Fairbanks rates plenty of credit for a job well done. The narration is handled by Ken Carpenter.
