That aftermath factors into their next assignment issued by Lester Kimsicle of the security department, he a bull in a China shop kind of guy, where someone posing as a postal employee has being robbing mailboxes, the four thus far where the perpetrator has replaced the contents with a stuffed goose, a can of beans, a wedding cake topper, and the latest theft with a piece of paper on which an obscure Latin phrase is typed. Associated, Nikki Bergens, the person who served Shane and Oliver on their date, is desperate to retrieve a letter she mailed, or thought she did, professing her love for her coworker Grant who has since broken up with her, that false presumption as she actually gave the letter to the postal thief. Oliver quickly deciphers the four clues to determine who the thief is targeting. Beyond believing Nikki is hiding something about her letter, they have to figure out what the thief actually wants and how to give it him or her, which requires some outside help, cutting to the heart of both Shane and Lester.
