In going through Eleanor's effects, the team comes across its next letter which was misdirected to Eleanor's inbox. They will be looking for the letter writer, Gabe, return address "Mile High", as the address on the envelope for "The One and Only Miss Hattie" has been obscured by the "return to sender, no such address" stamp. The enclosed is a love letter, and Gabe, assumed to be a handyman, having rediscovered music in his life after meeting Hattie this one and only time. Other contents indicate the letter is all about Katrina, Gabe, assumed to have been a New Orleans evacuee relocated to Denver, trying to keep in touch with Hattie during that uncertain time. The team believes it not only needs to find Gabe, but for his sake Hattie. Their love story is not the only one that affects Norman and Rita, and Oliver and Shane's own love stories, but also Joe's who wants again to rediscover romance in his retirement.
