The film depicts the true events from the life of Shri. Gajanan Maharaj of Shegavi village, he was hailed as the fifth re-incarnation by Datt, a sect of devotees. Several of the saint's miracles find mention in the film, like lighting his smoking pipe without fire, extracting sugarcane juice with his bare hands; bringing water out of a dried-up well and others.
