An iris diaphragm opens haltingly in the blackness, behind it a laughing Mickey Mouse, his friend Pluto's arm around his shoulders. The final sequences of a happy ending run in reverse, Martin Arnold deconstructs the animation. He dissects the scene, expands it in his customary rhythm, deletes parts, and plunges the entire image into blackness.
