Seven Days Ashore Reviews

Low-budget all the way, this is a happy tale of a sailor with too many girl friends. Oliver's boat comes in at San Francisco and he is greeted by three women, ready for his charms. He gets out of his predicament by conning two friends into helping him. After his buddies initially turn on him and then rescue him, everyone comes up singing happily at the end. Songs include "The Poor Little Fly on the Wall," "Apple Blossoms in the Rain," "Hail and Farewell," "Sioux City Sue," "Ready, Aim, Kiss," "Jive Samba" (Mort Greene, Lew Pollack), "Improvisation in B Flat" (Freddie Fisher).
