Scooter is left home alone with his nanny by his parents when they go on safari in Africa. When his parents seem to be killed in a plane crash, the youth welfare office is interested in Scooter, who now keeps afloat with photo sales and plans to search for his downed parents in Africa. By sea, he falls into the hands of an old captain who earns his money by kidnapping.
