The villain and his men rape Vanisri in order to prevent her from testifying against them. She gives birth to child and raises him to be a tough thug. He falls in love with Vijayasanti and eventually marries her. The hero ends up in a tussle between his mother who wants him to remain a tough criminal and the wife who wants to reform him. He eventually finds a way to satisfy them both.
