Rocket takes you out of your world and into the world of 1950's dirt track racing. When a champion driver is killed right before he reaches the finish line of a 1947 locals race, his legacy falls on the shoulder of his only child...a daughter named Annie. Twelve years later, Annie lives a reclusive life on the remnants of her father's ranch. When a privileged and wealthy man named Weston unexpectedly shows up on Annie's farm, she is tasked with teaching him the ins and outs of competitive dirt track racing, while at the same time searching for a self-identity she can comfortably wear.
