"Roam" is the story of two homeless Hispanic brothers, 16-year-old Luis and 9-year-old Tito, who are trying to stay together as they struggle to survive in the streets of Los Angeles. They have been on the streets since their heroin-addict mother abandoned them two years before. Luis has taken care of his younger brother since then, sacrificing his own childhood to protect him. However, he has started to feel fed up and dreams of a new life without ties. The day the story takes place, Luis is given the opportunity to make his dream come true. But will he be able to leave Tito and go away?
