Babasaheb awaits for his daughter Chitra to come for his younger daughter's marriage ,but her husband Shinu and mother in law Mai have a condition that they should pay Seven thousand to them to purchase a fridge only then they will send her for marriage.Chitra is daily harassed by her husband and mother in law for dowry and only support she finds in is her father in law Annasaheb while her neighbor Ramu and his mother pity her.When Chitra is pregnant she feels things might change but in absence of Annasaheb,Mai and Shinu torture her and lock inside the Toilet where she commits suicide.Mai gets Shinu's married with Kamal whose faces the same torture but Kamal fights back with support of Annasaheb.
