Promises is a coming of age story for Charlie (played by Sebastian Clewlow) who meets Phoebe (played by Fay Davies). We all remember a first love but more importantly we remember what we learnt from it. Charlie is at a cross roads, does he continue to pretend to be something he's not or does he follow Phoebe's philosophy and stay true to who we are?
