Rita is a producer who decides to make a documentary about prostitution in Florianópolis. After many testimonials, she meets a girl who is looking for her missing sister and ends up getting involved in a dangerous investigation that may reveal much more than she wanted to show. Shot entirely on the paradisaical island of Florianópolis, Procuradas is a portrait of the underworld of sex, money and exploited women.
