Joaquin Shannon arrives home from a cruise on his fishing boat. His first mate, Charles Nelson, is to marry Shannon's sister the next day. Nelson gets drunk and Shannon finds him near the unconscious body of a man that he, Shannon, had been fighting with previously. The man dies and Shannon takes the blame and goes to prison. There he gets into trouble instigated by "Big Red" Kincaid and is denied a parole. He stops a prison break and get a parole. Not able to get work, he takes a job with a former convict on a fishing boat. Kincaid, who has shot a guard and escaped and vowing vengeance on Shannon, shows up.

I haven't heard a lot about ...

Question: I haven't heard a lot about the upcoming premiere of Prison Break. Any spoilers you can toss our way? (BTW, I just caught your role as "Blushing Guy" in Veronica Mars. Fabulous work, my friend.) Answer: Thanks for that, Chad! Regarding Monday's PB premiere, brace yourself for a doozy of a twist in the final five minutes. And Episode 2 revolves around Michael and Lincoln masterminding yet another impossible escape, only this time they're trying to break someone else out. But the big news is that Michael finally ditches his boring prison duds and disguises himself as a J.Crew model. Big improvement, if you ask me.

Question: Let me just say that I was planning on sending you Snapple, but with all this summer heat I got thirsty and forgot. Do I get scoops for trying? I would love some Prison Break scoop, please! Answer: Lane Garrison (aka Tweener) told TVGuide.com's Matt Mitovich that the show is "going back to the more fun side of Tweener. When he first entered the prison, he was the comedic relief on such a heavy show. [They're going to] let [him] have some fun with being free again and rediscovering [himself] on the open road." Among the things he rediscovers is women. Or more specifically, a woman named Debra Jean. "She's [around] for a few episodes," he reports, "and then we go our separate ways."

Who's leaving Prison Break?

Question: Who's leaving Prison Break? Answer: It's Stacy Keach, who told Matt Mitovich that he'll leave the show after next season's second episode, when the hunt for Scofield and his fellow escapees gets turned over to the new FBI agent character (played by Invasion's William Fichtner). "The FBI's going to take over pretty strongly," says the veteran actor, who doesn't rule out a return later in the season. "Things are still unresolved between Scofield and the warden, so down the line, we'll probably — hopefully — get some closure."
