Ananthan is in love with Amminikutty, the daughter of Bhaskaran Nair. Vasu is their neighbor. He's pompous in nature. Keshavankutty is his son. Keshavankutty was away from his village for a while and came back with money. He had his eyes on Amminikutty for a while. One night he attacks her and takes away her chastity. It destroys her life and Ananthan too is confused. Later Ananthan learns the truth and tries to do retributive justice. In the end, Keshavankutty, fearing for his life, runs away from the village, and Ananthan and Amminikutty unite again.
