Laura Vázquez, daughter of a former politic leader, is a dreamer girl with hopes to be an important figure in Nueva Izquierda, a left-wing party lead by Alfonso Bravo, who wants to win the incoming elections. In the opposite side, Pablo Merino is a conservative young man who waits the same than Laura for España Liberal, a right-wing party lead by Victoria Silvela, who waits to win for a second term. All they meet for the disastrous inauguration of a dam in the middle of the nature, but before they know it, Laura and Pablo are left alone there after the rest left it so quickly as they came. Forced to be together in the forest to survive, they feel attracted to each other despite to be politic enemies. Rescued when things were going to be wild between them, the story makes Alfonso visit Laura in the hospital pretending to be a politician worried with his workers, but the situation turns way out of the hand when Laura is promoted to be Alfonso's number two of the elections, forcing Victoria to do the same with Pablo. However, each new meet between them cause one scandal after another, making crazy Alfonso and Victoria. With the elections around the corner, Laura and Pablo must face not only their previous ambitions with reality, but their mutual feelings.
