Ever since Albert Einstein, time and space have been relative. This does not seem to apply to love. Or does it? After 35 years of marriage, driving instructor Paul doesn't really care what his wife Gabriela does. But the thought of her cheating drives him mad. Her adult daughter Alexa experiences a similar emotional roller coaster ride. The daily soap actor wants a child, and soon, but is sadly at odds with men. That changes when she meets daydreamer Stevie, who makes a living as a voice actor and sperm donor. Love also changes the dreary everyday life of the dutiful civil servant Peggy, who examines the fast food restaurant of the Lebanese innkeeper Youssef with German thoroughness. The amiable migrant teaches her that regulations and paragraphs do not make up everything in life. At the other end of town, Frieder, the head of the agency, is at odds with his esoteric wife. While Eva escapes into esoteric orbit with her guru, Frieder cheats on her with her sister.
