In the 1960s, the photographer Philippe Doumic, who died in 2013, took innumerable portrait photos of the rising stars French of cinema: Godard, Bardot, Truffaut, Moreau, Belmondo, Deneuve - Whilst some of the pictures became emblematic of the New Wave, others remained unused.
