Carla has had yet another setback in life: the loss of another job. Skint, living in a crap bedsit, and with a medical concern, she does what she is good at--what got her to this point: she avoids the right thing. After a night out with Deanna, Carla starts to recognize that things are as great when she's sober, and she shuts out the day until she can again become Party Girl. This time her judgment causes her bigger problems: she and her best mate are attacked, which results in a loss Carla will regret for the rest of her life.
