In a year of political turmoil in the US, Paul Ronder and crew (current and former MFA film students at Columbia University) set out to tell the stories of three diverse American families who had lost a member in 1970: at Kent State University in Ohio, at Jackson State University in Missippi, and in Vietnam. Raw and wrenching accounts of loss raise vital political issues. Dedicated to the memory of Phillip Lafayette Gibbs (1950-1970), Allison Krause (1951-1970), Carmine Angelo Macedonio (1950-1970), and all the others.
