Crystal Thorn, an African American Professor of Literature married to a retired NBA player, must choose between supporting the movement, in her position as the faculty advisor to the Black Students Matter (BSM), and supporting her son, an NCAA star. Meanwhile, dad, Donald Thorn, is furious that she even thinks she has a choice.
