Jack Donaghy is behind on his rent and his landlord is not a pleasing person. He works at a furniture store and his boss is not particularly nice either. Jack has major communication and confidence issues. Over a trivial incident he is threatened to lose his job if he does not meet a certain sales target in a week. Dejected, he runs into a fortune teller who asks him to look for answers around him. Not buying her suggestion, he leaves. But the next day onwards he has epiphanies relating to a plant that he waters everyday. He decides to mend his relationship with his landlord and his estranged mother and fights to meet the sales target. Having what he has, it is a tough struggle.
