'One Step,' tells the story of charismatic businessman, Cooker Benton, who is moving up the corporate ladder. Cooker is thrust out of work by conniving coworkers. Not being able to get on his feet, he loses everything and becomes homeless. A friend later comes to his rescue with freeing evidence. Cooker must now claw his way off the streets in order to re-establish himself and begin a new life.
