One Brief Summer Reviews

Evans plays a divorced tycoon who falls for the young girl friend of his daughter. He abandons his mistress and marries the girl despite his daughter's jealousy. But Gibson, as the girl, falls in love with a young neighbor and runs off with him. This was the directorial debut for Mackenzie, and his lack of experience shows here in that he adds very little color to the story or the characters. Includes the song "All There Is--Is Now!" (Roger Webb, Norman Jewell, sung by Watson T. Brown and the Detroit Affiliation).
