Innocent girl gets lead astray by Lothario, not only into adultery, because he's already married, but devilish drink, too. Lothario's good friend, the fine upstanding seaman takes a fancy to make her his wife, but he's not enough to save her. On the way, her daughter becomes a victim of her wayward drunken ways.
