On Christmas eve, two associates, Richard and Lawrence, come together to celebrate the longevity of their careers. Shortly after, Richard begins to reflect on his inhibitions and struggles to accept his declining years. To lighten the mood, Lawrence decides to surprise him by showing him the Christmas set-up he prepared in the living room. Richard, unimpressed by Lawrence's carelessness, chooses to highlight his flaws and his incompetence. The tension between them rises when they demoralize and provoke each other further. They attack their ego, incapability, and old age. Which then turns into a lethal confrontation. However, this face-off ends abruptly upon the discovery that it was merely a ruse devised by Lawrence to reinvigorate Richard's passion. Now, reignited with a newfound meaning, they pay tribute by having their first ever collaboration; for the gift, they are about to receive will be something quite special.
