Penniless swindler Orpheas and his band of con artists while away the time thinking of ways to strike it rich. However, things will take an unexpected turn when unsuspecting Orpheas loses an ear during a fight with an angry, cheated husband. As the team of surgeons replaces the lost ear with a bionic, state-of-the-art external device, the poor man soon realises that he has gained the ability to hear otherwise imperceptible sounds. Blessed with extraordinary abilities, Orpheus decides to make the most of his newfound power and finally escape poverty. But is his sensitive hearing a blessing or a curse?
