Madame Carrere (Joan Collins) is a beautiful and distinguished socialite who runs an International Ballet School. She is a powerful and determined figure, and when a defecting Russian ballerina, Nadia, arrives, Madame takes her under her wing. Soon however, the Russians are on her tail and, as the net tightens, it becomes clear there is more to Nadia than anyone suspected.
