A motorist has a heart attack, and his car hits a young jogger (Slater). She is blinded by the accident. A year later, she is starting a new life, with a new love (McCarthy), and a new apartment, a loft on the fourth floor of secluded building. She is having difficulty adjusting to her sightless condition, but, is managing. Her boyfriend has to go out of town to help a friend. Enter two psychos that want her to tell them the combination to the safe in her uncle's business. Her dark world just got darker.
