Set over the course of a few hours, a mother and daughter work to clean up the physical and emotional devastations of a murder that was set off by an inability to access an abortion. Told through interspersed flashbacks and present time scenes is a story about the extraordinary demands and burdens of motherhood in a time of diminishing autonomy.
