Buster Keaton, broke and hungry, gets involved with a magician and his act due to his infatuation with Marlyn Stuart. When the act is put on all the comic possibilities of the story are used and the resulting situations make a hilarious few minutes. Of course the comedy is not entirely unexpected but there are good, substantial laughs.
