A young woman, Sarah, was the mistress of a former leader of an armed group, Romain. He's been missing for nine years, betraying everything, and everyone. One morning, however, he called her back and announced his return to Italy. As her memories assail her, and a heavy and mysterious past resurfaces, Sarah meets a stranger, Tremaine. They love each other right away. This passion turns their lives upside down. Tremaine is a quiet, solitary character; his life is calm and reassuring. Physically he looks a little like Romain, and that is enough to unleash the hatred and jealousy of Commissioner Moran against him, who makes him follow him, knowingly maintaining confusion and contempt.
