Litel is an attorney who loses in his bid for the DA spot and then gets involved with a car theft ring. He represents the crooks in court and keeps them out of jail until Moore, a mechanic, is murdered. With some persuading from his former wife, Dvorak, Litel turns to prosecuting the gang.
