Middle Age Crazy Reviews

Houston building contractor Dern hits his 40th birthday and a corresponding midlife crisis. The surprise birthday party his wife, Ann-Margret, throws for him turns into a comic nightmare for Dern. After Dern's father dies he takes off to Dallas on a job and begins an affair with Dallas Cowboy cheerleader Wakeham. The film, on the whole, works well, with some hilarious moments and fine acting by Dern (who proves that he can handle romantic leads as well as his usual crazed characters) and Ann-Margret. Shot entirely in Toronto.
