The ambitious hotel manager, Lærke, seizes a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity when her boss sends her to Malaga, Spain, to develop a grand new hotel in the middle of a mango farm. The farm belongs to Alex a former lawyer who refuses to sell due to a tragic past he can't let go of. Lærke brings along her daughter, Agnes, who expects a rare holiday with her busy mother or so she believes. As unexpected feelings start to bloom between Lærke and Alex, both are forced to make choices that will impact their careers, family ties, and ultimately, their hearts.
